Main & Hot part of Computer

The Central Processing Unit (CPU) of a CPU is the main processor which operates the computer - ie it carries out the commands of the plan being run.

The CPU has three major parts...

1. The A.L.U. (Arithmetic and Logic Unit) which performs all the calculations.

2. The Control Unit - Control Unit controls the flow of data round the computer by sending out control signals.

3. Memory - Memory is used to store data.
